Lydia is a recent graduate of University of Maryland, where she earned a master’s degree in Nuclear Chemistry, following a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from University of Charleston, West Virginia. At UMD, Lydia trained as a reactor operator for the UMD TRIGA reactor and conducted research on Pb-Pb collisions at the LHC in collaboration with CERN. Lydia is passionate about nuclear science and advancing reliable and accessible nuclear energy.
