Our Modular Power Plant

Our nuclear power plants are designed to be manufactured in shipyards, where a permanent workforce and automated machinery reduce cost and build time.

01

Enhanced safety

Blue Energy uses mature light water reactors and the latest passive safety advancements to create a plant that is 100% walk-away safe. The reactor building is submerged in a pool that provides additional physical protection and backup cooling.

02

Designed for mass production

The reactor and passive safety functions are fully isolated from the rest of the power plant, allowing the turbine hall and other non-nuclear systems to be manufactured in non-nuclear shipyards.

03

Land and expand deployments

Thanks to centralized manufacturing and a small plant footprint, a site can start with just a single reactor, and additional reactors can be added over time.

Our Bottom Line

Shrinking energy costs

Our modular design and centralized manufacturing make nuclear power cost competitive with fossil fuels and renewables.

Our Business Model

Firm, dispatchable, new nuclear megawatts for industry

  1. No required upfront capital investment from customers
  2. Blue Energy finances, builds, owns, and operates its power plants
  3. Customers buy new nuclear megawatts through risk-managed power purchase agreements
