Kody Olsen is an accomplished supply chain and contracts leader with over fifteen years of experience driving complex procurement and contracting strategy across the liquefied natural gas, mining, and oil and gas industries in the United States and Canada.
Prior to joining Blue Energy, Kody served as Director, Contract Management at Venture Global LNG, where he was responsible for overseeing contracts across the full contract lifecycle for the owner-furnished equipment (OFE) business line.
Throughout his career, Kody has held progressive leadership roles at companies including Canadian Natural Resources, Kinder Morgan, and Newmont Corporation, consistently delivering measurable results through competitive negotiation, risk mitigation, and strategic supplier partnerships. He has deep expertise in construction and contracting law, supply chain risk management, and contract lifecycle governance, with a track record of achieving significant cost savings and successfully resolving high-stakes commercial disputes. He brings this expertise to Blue Energy’s mission of deploying next-generation small modular reactor technology, where rigorous procurement and contract strategy are critical to project execution.
