Callan Low is a seasoned technical recruiter with deep expertise across the energy and technology sectors. As Lead Technical Recruiter at Blue Energy, he is responsible for attracting top-tier talent across engineering, R&D, scientific innovation, commercial and more – helping to build a world-class team committed to advancing transformative nuclear solutions for a sustainable, energy-efficient future. Prior to joining Blue Energy, he worked in engineering recruitment, with a particular focus on the nuclear energy sector. During that time, he forged relationships with many of the leading nuclear companies in the United States, working alongside key executives in the organizations to meet specialized staffing requirements. Before his career in recruitment, Callan was an international basketball player for Scotland & Great Britain, with highlights that included participating in several European Championships & the Commonwealth Games in Australia. He earned a full scholarship to play collegiate basketball at Newberry College and Westcliff University, where he completed a B.A. in Business Administration.
