Alex Chereskin

Alex joined Blue Energy after over 10 years with the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission. He held several roles at the NRC including most recently as a technical reviewer for non-light water reactor designs, as well as in license renewal and aging management. Prior to joining the NRC, he spent almost 4 years at PPL in support of engineering and licensing the Bell Bend Project, which was an effort to build a new large PWR. Alex holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and a master’s of engineering degree in energy systems engineering from Lehigh University. He lives in Washington, DC, and enjoys spending time with his wife and two little boys. In his free time Alex is an avid gardener and also enjoys cooking and running.
