With over 20 years of experience in the Power Systems Operations and Operations Engineering space, Josh is dedicated to ensuring Blue Energy’s projects enhance grid reliability. He has worked in nearly every level of power grids from the Distribution level to the Independent System Operator level, consulting, and project development. His experience in real-time and planning environments, drive a desire to develop projects that provide optimized energy solutions exactly where they are needed. A shared respect for solving power system issues through innovative solutions is what attracted Josh to Blue Energy.
In addition to roles in System Operations, Josh has held positions including Principal Engineer of Solution Optimization, Director of Interconnection, Director of Utilities & Infrastructure, and Grid Operations Industry Expert. His experience enables Blue Energy to effectively develop resources in both regulated and de-regulated territories.
After retiring from the US Marine Corps in 2014, Josh completed his MBA through Liberty University and holds certifications including NERC System Operator (Reliability Coordinator), ERCOT System Operator, Electric Industry Operations & Markets from Duke University.
